Marina de Valencia

  • Previously, during America’s Cup (World’s most important sailing competition), it was known as Marina Real Juan Carlos I or Port America’s Cup
  • Located between Playa de las Arenas (Malvarrosa) and Puerto de Valencia. It belongs to the district of Poblats Maritims.
  • Counting the area of land and water, the whole Marina de Valencia has over 1 million square meters. It also has over 820 moorages for boats.
  • The main areas of the Marina Real include: Veles e Vents (most iconic building), Docks (a building for commercial purposes), Varadero (where boats used to be fixed and now it is protected architecture) and Escuela de Negocios EDEM and Lanzadera (a place to accelerate startups and help them grow).
  • It is well worth strolling around the area and having a drink in one of its cool bars (like the Marina Beach)
